Behind The Scenes: Jolene In The Park

Hey y'all, QD here. This shoot was supposed to happen a few weeks ago but Jolene, our lovely model was super busy. So when shoot day came I was inspired by blue tones, Strelitzia, ocean vibes and blue skies. Which is why the collage is full of luscious blue. Although we found very little blue in the park (not even blue sky!), the shoot was still super fun and amazing.

I'm a very fun, bubbly person. I'm barely ever in a mood and always happy...though some people manage to put me in one sometimes😂. If I could, I would emigrate to America and start up a career for myself there. I love modeling, singing and acting and I would love to one day show my passion to the world.

Your style is... My style is definitely sophisticated and chic, yet sexy.

What is style? Style is being able to express yourself through the world of fashion. There is such a variety of clothing, so I believe you've just got to play around, have fun and find the style that expressed you best.

What does personal style mean to you? Personal style means knowing what looks good on you and what flatters your body the most, and of course, flaunting it.

What is your personal style? My personal style consists of a whole range of different items. My current favourite trend is Boho Chic, but when I'm in a rush, I always throw on my favourite high waisted jeans, Adidas Superstars and a tank or crop top. It always looks effortlessly cool and comfortable.

Go-to style inspiration? My style is highly influenced by Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and when I feeling like dressing super classy and chic, Kim Kardashian. I'm just slightly obsessed with them, what do you think?

Style blog/website you like? I love Polyvore. I always use it to pair outfits together and see what to get on my next trip to Sandton City or to buy online.

Favourite item of clothing? My favourite item of clothing is definitely my new blue high wasted jeans from H&M. They're so stretchy, comfortable, look good with almost anything and can be transformed from day to night with the simple change of a jacket.

Latest beauty discovery? I love the Mac 'Medley of Mauves' eyeshadow set. The colours are incredible. I always use it to create a brown/wine colour smokey eye - the colours bring out my green eyes.
